Rava Idli/sooji idli

Rava idli can be made instantly for a quick healthy breakfast. In my first video recipe, sharing my recipe of instant rava idli/sooji idli.







Makes: 8 idlies

Ingredients :-


  • Rava/sooji-1 cup
  • Curd -1/4 cup
  • Eno -1 tsp
  • Salt (according to taste)-1/4 tsp
  • 5 to 6 curry leaves
  • Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
Process:
  • For tadka heat 1tsp oil in a pan
  • Add mustard seeds, when mustard seeds starts to pop, add curry leaves and stir for 1 min, then turn off the gas and keep it aside
  • In a bowl add rava/sooji
  • Add salt, curd  and mix well, add water to make smooth batter, batter should not be very thick or thin. 
  • Add prepared tadka in the batter and mix well
  • Add Eno and mix well.Eno helps in fermenting the batter instantly.
  • Put idli batter in the idli maker and steam for 15 mins.
  • Its ready to serve.
