Sabudana tikki or sabudana cutlet is a very delicious recipe for breakfast and snacks. In this post I am sharing the recipe of sabudana tikki.
Serves:2
Ingredients:
- Sabudana-1/2 cup
- Cooking oil( for shallow frying)
- 1 tbsp roasted peanut
- Medium size boiled potatoes-2
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 2 to 3 green chillies chopped finely(to taste)
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder(to taste)
- 1/2 tsp chaat masala powder
- Salt(to taste)
Process:
- Wash and soak sabudana for 5 to 6 hours or overnight
- It will become double of its volume after soaking , take sabudana out from water in a bowl, and keep it aside
- In a bowl take boiled potatoes and mash it
- Add soaked sabudana to boiled potatoes and mix well
- Prepare other ingredients chopped green chillies, ginger paste, and chopped cilantro
- Add ginger paste, chopped green chillies and chopped cilantro into the Sabudana mixture
- Add coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala powder, red chilli powder, roasted peanut and salt( to taste) in the mixture of sabudana tikki
- Mix well and make small tikkies
- Heat oil in a pan
- Put sabudana tikkies and cook from bottom sides
- Flip it and cook from other sides as well
- Once done sprinkle chaat masala on the tikkies, and serve hot with chutney and sauce
