Sabudana tikki/Sabudana cutlet

Sabudana tikki or sabudana cutlet is a very delicious recipe for breakfast and snacks. In this  post I am sharing the recipe of sabudana tikki.


Serves:2

Ingredients:
  • Sabudana-1/2 cup
  • Cooking oil( for shallow frying)
  • 1 tbsp roasted peanut
  • Medium size boiled potatoes-2
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 to 3 green chillies chopped finely(to taste)
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder(to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala powder
  • Salt(to taste)


Process:
  • Wash and soak sabudana for 5 to 6 hours or overnight


  • It will become double of its volume after soaking , take sabudana out from water in a bowl, and keep it aside
  • In a bowl take boiled potatoes and mash it



  •  Add soaked sabudana to boiled potatoes and mix well



  •  Prepare other ingredients chopped green chillies, ginger paste, and chopped cilantro 

  • Add ginger paste, chopped green chillies and chopped cilantro into the Sabudana mixture


  • Add coriander powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala powder, red chilli powder, roasted peanut and salt( to taste) in the mixture of sabudana tikki 






  • Mix well and make small tikkies

  • Heat oil in a pan




  • Put sabudana tikkies and cook from bottom sides

  •  Flip it and cook from other sides as well

  • Once done sprinkle chaat masala on the tikkies, and serve hot with chutney and sauce
