Ingredients:
- Spinach/palak : 200 gm
- Wheat flour/atta : 3 cup
- Cooking oil
- 1/4 tsp carom seeds(ajwain)
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- Salt( to taste)
Process:
- Clean and wash spinach(palak)
- Add 1/2 cup of water, add 1/4 tsp salt to water and when water starts to boil add spinach(palak), blanch it for 1 min then turn off the stove. Drain it, and keep it aside and let it cool down on room temperature for 5 to 10 min
- Take mixer and put blanched spinach and grind it to make it like paste , if required add little bit of water
- Take wheat flour in a pan
- Add salt(to taste)
- Add carom seeds(ajwain), ginger paste, garlic paste, and 2 tsp oil
- Mix it well and add spinach(palak) paste in it
- Make dough by slowly adding water into it
- Cover it and let the dough rest for half an hour
- Heat the pan and add enough oil for deep frying
