Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of spinach/palak
- Chickpea/chole-1/2 cup
- Cooking oil for shallow fry
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 3-4 green chillies(as per taste)
- 2 inch ginger cut
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp chaat masala powder
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs/2 tbsp corn flour
- Salt(as per taste)
- Wash and soak the chickpea overnight
- After soaking overnight chickpea will be like this
- Put chickpea in a pressure cooker , put 1 cup of water and put 1/2 tsp salt and pressure cook it for 15 to 20 min on medium heat, make sure chickpea are cooked properly, should not overcooked or mashy
- After pressure cooking remove the access water from chickpea, it should be like this
- Take the bunch of spinach (palak) and clean it
- Heat the pan with 1 cup of water , boil it and add 1/2 tsp salt, and add cleaned spinach(palak) in it and blanch it for 1 to 2 min
- Take out the boiled/blanhed spinach in a plate and keep it aside
- Squeeze the access water from blanched spinach
- Prepare all the other ingredients cloves of garlic, ginger and green chillies for kabab
- Put blanched spinach, garlic, ginger and green chillies in a grinder and grind it
- Add boiled chickpea into grinder and grind it
- Take out the mixture in a bowl
- Add salt, garam masala powder, chaat masala powder, roasted cumin powder into the mixture and mix well
