Oven baked Tandoori chicken

In this post I am going to share Tandoori chicken recipe made in Oven. It is a nice dish to be served in a party or family get-together .

                                   

Serves :- 3

Ingredients :-
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
  • 1tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp ginger paste
  • 3 to 4 tbsp curd
  • 3 tsp coriander powder(dhania powder)
  • 2 tsp cumin powder (jeera powder)
  • salt (according to taste)
  • 2 tbsp red chilli powder

Process:
  •  Take chicken leg pieces in a bowl and make a cut using knife as shown in the picture





  • Add garlic and ginger paste
                                       

  • Add curd 


  • Add cumin powder, coriander powder, salt and red chilli powder
  • Mix it well 
                                             

  • Cover the bowl and keep in refrigerator for at-least two hours


  • Take out the chicken from refridgerator half an hour before baking
  • Preheat the oven at 400 degree F and take baking tray , put aluminum foil on it , add some oil
                                       

  • Put chicken on tray and put some oil on chicken and bake one side for 15 to 20 min.
                                     

  • After 15 to 20 min flip it over and bake it for another 15 to 20 min on 400 degree F
                                     

  • Again flip and bake it for another 5 min on 450 degree F
                                       


  • It's done and serve hot with cilantro chutney
