Oats tikki is a very nice combination of healthy oats with indian spices, very easy to cook and best for breakfast and evening snacks

Ingredients :-
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup yellow moong daal
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 1/2 tsp cumin(jeera) powder
- 2 tsp coriander(dhaniya) powder
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp grated garlic
- 1/2 cup cilantro chopped
- 1/2 medium sized oinon chopped
- Salt according to taste
- Cooking oil
- 3-4 green chillis chopped
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- Chaat masala (optional)
Process
- Wash the moong daal and put it in pressure cooker
- Add half cup of water
- Add 1 tsp oil
- Pressure cook on medium heat till you get 2 whistles, then turn off the stove and let it rest for 5-10 minutes
- Once done it will look like the below picture
- Next prepare all the ingredients as show in the below pictures (onion, cilantro, ginger, garlic, green chilli)
- Take the daal in a bowl and add chopped ginger, garlic, onion, cilantro , green chilli .
- Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, roasted cumin powder and garam masala powder and mix it well.
- Now add oats and mix it well and let it rest for 5 minutes
- Once it is mixed make small balls(tikka shape) of it as shown in the below pictures
- Now heat oil in a non stick pan on medium heat
- Now put the tikki's in pan and shallow fry it from one side (approx. 5 minutes)
- Now flip them over to fry the top side (approx. 5 minutes)
