Bhindi, the most popular vegetable among all specially for kids. In this post I am going to share a very easy and quick recipe of Bhindi Masala Fry.

- Okara (bhindi) :- 1 pound (450 grams)
- 1 tbsp ginger grated
- 1 tbsp garlic chopped
- 1/2 tomato sliced
- 1/2 onion sliced
- 3-4 green chillies chopped
- 5-6 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp whole cumin
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powde
- 1/2 tsp red chilli podwer
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp coriander powder
Process :-
- Wash the okra and make sure it is dry, then cut it in medium pieces as shown below
- Chop onion, ginger, garlic, tomato and green chillies
- Heat the oil in pan, and add whole cumin
- When cumin is brown, add chopped garlic and stir for some time
- Add ginger and stir
- Add green chillies and onion and stir
- Stir occasionly till onions are translucent
- Add salt and turmeric powder
- Add cumin powder , and coriander powder
- Add red chilli powder
- Stir for 1-2 minutes
- Now add okra (bhindi), and mix well and cover with a lid
- Stir occasionally , and cook for around 10-15 minutes.
- Your bhindi masala fry should be ready by now
